what do you think of this?

I’m still stuffing around with wordpress, still getting used to the peculiar interface. I would have much rather had either a proper WYSIWYG interface or basic html, rather than the wordpress approach. Oh well, I’ll get used to it eventually, I suppose.
My question was around what wordpress calls “snap shots”. Basically, whenever you put a link in, wordpress helpfully pops up a little picture of the link location.
Like this.
What do you think? Personally, I don’t like it, but I’d be interested to see what others think.

is that what they call them? “snap shots”. I’ve turned mine off - I find them a PITA.
But I like the way that your posts now appear full-length in bloglines. I only ever got the title of the blogspot ones, and had to click to your blog to actually read what you had to say (such a hardship, I know).
I moved from Blogger about a year ago. I actually preferred it - you could do more with widgets, but the google login caused problems going through the Company firewall.
I guess the real answer is to get your own webserver and address, then you can do whatever you like.
